The Friends of Springwater are pleased to announce the creation of the Catfish Cornhole ACL Entity. This new entity will work with the Catfish Creek Conservation Authority to promote activities on the east side campground of the Springwater Conservation Area. Our first co-operative venture is now underway with a cornhole tournament scheduled for Saturday August 1st.
Everyone is welcomed to sign up for this tournament, however, as this event will run through the ACL (American Cornhole League) platform for the purposes of scoring and assigning matches, everyone who plays in this tournament needs to create a profile on the ACL website or mobile app. Don’t worry, creating a profile is free, but the tournament(s) do cost $15 per person, per tournament for this event. There is a morning tournament which is a “BYOP” or Bring Your Own Partner event, and you and your partner would both sign up as a team. The afternoon event is a “SWAP” event where you will be scored individually and will have a different partner for every game you play. For this event, you would sign up individually.
